Do I need my own Matterport account?+
No. Your capture is processed and hosted in our Matterport account, and your hosted twin link is ready within 2 business days of the kit coming back. The first 12 months of hosting are included, and the same after-year-one options apply as our scan tiers: keep it hosted, transfer it to your own account, or just take the data.
How hard is the kit to use?+
The Matterport Pro 3 is a one-button capture instrument. Pickup includes a 15-minute handover that covers scan positions, spacing and common mistakes. If your capture comes back with gaps, we tell you exactly what to re-scan rather than processing a poor model.
What happens if the kit is damaged or lost?+

Can I get floor plans or CAD from my own capture?+
Yes. Any capture made with the hired kit can be upgraded to measured 2D floor plans or a CAD or BIM model at our standard tier pricing, modelled in-house in Australia.
