We would rather show real work than borrow someone else's
Sydney Scan Co is a new studio. As we complete projects across Greater Sydney, we publish them here in full: the building and where it is, the problem the capture solved, exactly what we delivered, and the measured result, including the hours saved on site and what the model caught before it became a cost.
The first projects are being captured now. If you have a building you would like documented, and are open to it being one of the first case studies here, tell us about it.
What every case study here will record
- Suburb and stage
- Where the building is and which construction stage the scan served.
- Client
- Named with their permission, or described by role where they prefer.
- Scope
- What was captured: the areas, the levels, the site, and why.
- Delivered
- The twin, the renders, the plans, the CAD or BIM, and the formats.
- Measured outcome
- What the model caught, the site visits it replaced, the hours it saved. Numbers, or nothing.
- The twin itself
- A link to walk through the hosted model, where the client allows it.
